The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
